Committees

Committees meet as needed throughout the year.  State Directors and NYHA members make up members of the committees.  

Membership: Oversees membership campaign, develops incentives and awards, and any other matters pertaining to membership.
Chair: Amy Kelsey 

Sales: Plans and coordinates NYHA sales.  These sales include The NY Convention Sale and the NY Spring Dairy Carousel Sale.
Chair: Jared Dueppengiesser and David King

Media: Reviews the activities of the New York Holstein News, including the annual schedule, editorial content, advertising rates, and gives support and guidance to the editor on any other matter pertaining to the magazine. This committee also plans activities to promote the Holstein breed and educate members.

Show: Plans The Spring Dairy Carousel and NY Holstein State Show, reviews county/regional shows, and establishes show policy.
